Account Executive

FundLoans is a wholesale lender looking for an experienced Account Executive (AE) who will establish, nurture and retain business relationships with mortgage brokers and correspondents. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a network of mortgage brokers funding loans though FundLoans
  • Managing all assigned Client accounts to include educating the clients in every aspect of the business relationship.
  • Create /execute a marketing & business plan that will drive approved TPO clients
  • Facilitate broker submissions of loan packages.
  • Communicate with the brokers to ensure product knowledge, answer scenario questions, provide status updates, and answer general questions. Provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage pipeline and meet or exceed production goals
  • Monitor ongoing performance of brokers.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operation Management to continuously drive improvement in the wholesale program.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years previous wholesale experience
  • Thorough understanding of lending guidelines and understand all facets of a real estate transaction
  • Thorough understanding of all state, federal and agency regulatory requirements including but not limited to TRID, RESPA, ECOA, TILA and HMDA
  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently, both verbally and written
  • Strong organization skills and detail orientated

As a Call Center Account Executive, you will work alongside a team of dedicated mortgage professionals who deliver exceptional service to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of wholesale mortgage accounts, acting as a key point of contact and problem-solver.

This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Being team oriented, adaptable, and having the ability to learn on the fly will also be key attributes of a successful candidate. Prior experience in the mortgage industry is preferred, but not necessarily required if the candidate can demonstrate success and ability to learn quickly and adapt.

Job description

We are looking for a Controller who is experienced in mortgage banking accounting to manage all accounting functions including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable and reporting. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform all functions of a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Controller.
  • Responsible for managing overall daily activities of all accounting, including bookkeeping tasks; all A/P, A/R, daily balances of all accounts, recording deposits, wiring funds, tracking expenses, etc.
  • Management of organizational systems; daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual routines to ensure effective and efficient accounting operations.
  • Responsible for managing operational cash flow and capitalization of entities.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting the company’s performance including profit loss, projected vs. actual, and capitalization.
  • Providing guidance, leadership and ideas for managing cash, enhancing operating performance, improving reporting, and developing metrics.
  • Month end close of GL accounting, account reconciliations; KPI’s.
  • Understands and complies with all regulatory requirements promulgated by relevant bank and mortgage supervisory agencies, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program.
  • Monitor daily balances of all accounts and transfer funds accordingly, anticipate curtailments, participation, and residual income. Ensure that all accounts maintain acceptable balances to cover debits.
  • Responsible for initiating all wires as needed between company accounts and to servicers/investors, or internally between accounts.
  • Work with CPA to file annual tax returns, prepare audited financials and extension filing.
  • Prepare and send 1098/1099’s at year end.
  • Manage day to day Treasury Department functions of funding, sweeping and verifying settlements on purchases with warehouse banks.
  • Monitor loans funding and on the warehouse line.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred).
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • Four to six years related experience and/or training, specifically in the mortgage banking industry.
  • A deep understanding of mortgage banking accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial management software such as Loan Vision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
